About Me
Since I could hold a pencil, I have been drawing and writing stories, and since I could hold a hammer, building. My love of adventure, food, nature, gardens, and art has led me around the world as a chef, landscape designer, and artist. A graduate of RISD with a BFA in Illustration, I have recently focused my creative energy back to my life-long love, picture books. I take frequent walks in the woods, and know every plant and creature within. I live in Philadelphia with my wife, two children and woodfired pizza oven.
My Illustrations are done in oil, watercolor, ink, linocut, collage or a combination of these mediums with digital
flourishes.
